WASATCH COUNTY, Utah – Crews have achieved about 75 percent containment on a wildfire burning on about 6 acres near Strawberry Reservoir, and the fire is believed to be human caused.
Forest Service personnel said the Poison Fire is located near the south end of Strawberry Reservoir, and Saturday crews included two engines, one squad, one 20 person crew and one helicopter.
Sunday, officials tweeted the fire was 75 percent contained and had burned on 5.7 acres. Officials with Uinta Wasatch Cache National Forest stated very little smoke was visible Sunday and there had been no torching. The fire is believed to be human-caused and is under investigation.
