FOX 13 News is partnering with the AARP and Shred-It for a free event where people can bring documents and other things to be shredded, and Thursday Alan Ormsby, the AARP's Utah State Director, came to talk about the importance of shredding documents as it relates to protecting your identity.
The free shredding event is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and it will be held at 6983 Union Park Center in Midvale.
