Makes 1/2 Gallon
Ingredients:
- In 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
- 1/8 C Chopped Garlic
- 1/2 jalapeno-small, diced
- 3 Large Onions-Chopped
- 1 Large can of diced tomatoes
- I Large can of diced Stewed/Italian tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/8 C Italian Spice
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Prepare:
- Sauté in ½ Cup olive oil–garlic, onions, and jalapeno
- In a large pot combine the sauté above and add:
- 1 Large Can of Diced Tomatoes
- 1 Large Can of Diced, Stewed/Italian Tomatoes
- (Can Use Fresh Tomatoes As Well)
- Add 1/8 Cup Italian Spice
- Add brown sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste.
Cook all day on simmer – approximately 8 hrs.
