LOGAN, Utah -- Three children suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening after an ATV with four children on board collided with a pickup truck in North Logan Wednesday night.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. in the area of 3100 North and 1600 East.
Police in North Park said the boys were traveling north on the ATV and the truck was traveling south when they collided on private property. The truck ended up pinning the ATV in a canal.
"There was a boy laying in the water, his torso and below were in the water," said Sgt. John Italasano of North Park Police Department. "They didn't want to move him for fear of other injuries. There was a boy up on the canal and another boy kind of up on the side of the canal, and the fourth boy after the accident ran home."
The crash remains under investigation, and Bear River Health personnel responded to make sure there was no gas or oil leaked into the canal.
