SALT LAKE CITY -- Many know Britain Covey as the speedy little quarterback and former Mr. Football that led the win-factory Timpview Thunderbirds to multiple state titles.
Many expected Covey to follow in his family pedigree and attend BYU, but last winter he chose Utah instead.
Covey is expected to contribute right away for Kyle Whittingham. He has switched positions from quarterback to wide receiver, and he is the Ute's number one punt returner at this point in fall camp.
