WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah -- Police are searching for individuals involved in a shooting that sent one man to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries Saturday night.
The shooting occurred just before midnight in the area of 3200 West and 4100 South after a group of people had gotten into an argument at a party.
The individuals involved in the fight left the party and walked down the street to a nearby church where the argument escalated, according to West Valley City police.
At some point during the confrontation, police say, a 37-year-old man was shot in the arm. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are searching for three or four females and one male they believe are involving in the shooting.
Police think the incident is isolated but not random and is most likely gang related.
