ALPINE, Utah — A brush fire started on the Utah County side of Corner Canyon Monday afternoon.
The fire is visible from Alpine, but a representative for the U.S. Forest Service said the fire is not threatening any structures there. According to Lone Peak Fire officials, the fire is in the Horsetail Falls area.
The U.S. Forest Service is conducting an aerial assessment of the fire and Utah County wildland fire crews are heading to the scene.
