CARBON COUNTY, Utah -The Emergency Operations Director for Carbon County is in Emery County Jail on theft-related offenses.
The officer in question, Jason Llewelyn, is a 10-year veteran of the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office.
The county placed Llewelyn on unpaid administrative leave.
Carbon County Sheriff Jeff Wood said the investigation is ongoing and they take office misconduct very seriously.
