SALT LAKE CITY – A man is recovering after he was stabbed in the stomach overnight.
Officers said a man jumped out of a car and stabbed the victim in the stomach at about 10 p.m. Sunday near 1216 W. Pacific Ave.
Police said by the time they got to the scene, the victim was in critical condition and the suspect was gone.
Authorities said the victim is now in serious condition and is expected to recover.
Officers later arrested the suspect who is now in custody.
The identity of the suspect has not been released.
