FARMINGTON, Utah — “Amusement Today” magazine named Lagoon as its 2015 Park of the Year.
Lagoon was given the award at the publication’s Golden Ticket Awards ceremony held Saturday at Luna Park in Coney Island, NY.
According to a press release, Lagoon was recognized for demonstrating commitment to one of America’s oldest amusement parks by always improving the park and preserving a piece of Utah’s history.
Lagoon has been in operation for 129 years and is America’s largest family-owned amusement park.
