OREM, Utah – Orem police are searching for a mother and son who have been missing for more than a week.

Police say 23-year-old Emily Almiron and her 3-year-old son Gabriel were last seen on September 13th.

Since then, there’s been no bank or cell phone activity.

Officers say Almiron was living with her boyfriend, who asked her to leave.

So far, they say there is no reason to suspect either of them are in danger.

“There`s some things that have kind of played out and makes us show that there`s really nothing suspicious about her disappearance,” said LT. Craig Martinez with the Orem Police Department.  “Other than the fact she`s not contacting any family members which is out of the ordinary for her.”

Police say Almiron is Hispanic, five foot six, just over 100 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.

She drives a 2009 red Toyota Prius.

Anyone with information on her and her son’s whereabouts is asked to call Orem police.
