Local bowler overcomes plethora of surgeries to shine on the lanes

SYRACUSE, Utah -- Frank Brown, 27, bowls in a league in Syracuse every Wednesday night.

If he doesn't have a ride, the Roy resident will walk to the the Rush Funplex to compete. And once there, he bowls like somebody who has been healthy their entire life, averaging scores in the high one hundreds.

His best score ever is a 238. Impressive, considering that Brown has undergone numerous surgeries to repair many different health issues, including everything from Spina Bifida to Hydrocephalus.
