Aggies defeat Broncos in 52-26 blowout game at home

LOGAN, Utah — Utah State remains undefeated in the Mountain West Conference after its victory over 21st-ranked Boise State on Friday night in Logan.

The Aggies forced eight turnovers, including seven in the first half alone, according to USU athletics website. Utah State had five interceptions and three fumble recoveries, turning them into 35 points. The final score was 52-26.

This was the Aggies’ first home win against an Associated Press-ranked team since defeating No. 25 Fresno State in 1991, the website indicated.

Utah State will take the field on Oct. 23 to play against San Diego at the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif. The game kicks off at 8:30 p.m.

The team’s next home game is Oct. 30 against Wyoming.
