PROVO, Utah -- An 18-year-old man was booked into jail Tuesday on multiple charges that include aggravated kidnapping and forcible sexual abuse, and he and two juveniles allegedly engaged in a hazing incident that occurred among members of the wrestling team at Provo High School Monday night.
Luis Castellanos, 18, was booked into jail Tuesday, and the man faces two counts of forcible sexual abuse, one count of attempted sexual abuse, and three counts of aggravated kidnapping.
Caleb Price with the Provo School District confirms to FOX 13 News the charges are in connection with a hazing incident that occurred during or after a practice for a sports team on Monday night.
Provo police said a total of three suspects were involved, but the other two are juveniles and their names have not been released. Police said all three are members of the wrestling team at Provo High School, and the alleged hazing occurred during or near a practice for the team Monday night.
Price said the school has taken disciplinary action against all three suspects, but he declined to elaborate on the specifics of that action.
Castellanos and the other suspects allegedly held down other teen boys while one suspect pulled down his underwear and held his buttocks over the teen victims' faces.
