Found: West Valley City missing 13-year-old girl found safe in South Salt Lake

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – The 13-year-old girl who was missing in West Valley City has been found safe near 3300 S. and 300 W. in South Salt LakeTuesday morning.

Officers said they received several calls from passersby who recognized Price from the news and saw her along the roadside.

Police said they are talking to her to find out where she was overnight and how she got to South Salt Lake.

Authorities said Mckenzie Price was reported missing Monday night when her mother learned she had never made it to her friend’s house.

McKenzie PricePrice left her home at the Homestead Farm Apartments near 3659 S. and 1950 W. at about 5:30 p.m. Monday and had not been seen since.

Price is 5’10” and 215 pounds with short, curly black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing light denim jeans, black high tops with orange accents and a pale blue zip up hooded sweatshirt.

Officials said she was not wearing her glasses when she left.

Price’s mother said her disappearance is out of character for her.
