SALT LAKE CITY – Police are searching for a man who robbed a credit union in Salt Lake City Tuesday evening, and they have provided a photo of the suspect in the hope the public can help identify him.
According to the Salt Lake City Police Department, the suspect entered a Mountain America Credit Union at 1225 South Redwood Road just before 5 p.m.
The man presented a note demanding money and indicating he had a weapon, but no weapon was observed.
The teller complied, and the suspect then fled north on foot.
The man is pictured above and is described as a black male between the ages of 25 and 30. The man is believed to be 6-feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a red and black plaid shirt, a black ball cap with a white logo, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
