One of Metro Gang Unit and US Marshals’ most wanted fugitives arrested in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah - One of the Metro Gang Unit and the US Marshals' most wanted fugitives is in custody after a traffic stop early Friday morning.

Just after 1 a.m., a Unified officer pulled over a car when one of the passengers jumped out of the car and ran off.

Another officer chased the suspect to 5400 S. and Redwood Rd. and took Inoke Vimahi into custody.

Vimahi has prior charges for robbery  and has previously been listed as "Public Enemy No. 1."

Officers arrested one other person for outstanding warrants during the traffic stop. Their name has not been released.
