SALT LAKE CITY — TRAX lines are experiencing delays Thursday night after an accident involving a TRAX train and a vehicle in Salt Lake City, and one person suffered minor injuries in the crash.
According to the Utah Transit Authority, the crash occurred just before 8 p.m. in the area of 600 South and Main Street, and all TRAX lines are experiencing 20 minute delays as a result.
Personnel at the scene said the crash occurred as a car turned in front of the train. One person on the train suffered very minor injuries, and none of the occupants of the car were injured.
The crash disabled the car and the train, with the crash scene blocking the intersection of 600 South and Main Street.
