SALT LAKE CITY -- Brighton Ski Resort is the first in Utah to open up the slopes for the 2015-2016 season, and FOX 13 News' Danica Lawrence was present Wednesday for the big kick-off.

Other ski resorts in Utah, like Brian Head Alta and Snowbird, are scheduled to open for the season on Friday.
