KEARNS, Utah – Police are investigating a bizarre string of events that led to a man getting shot in the leg overnight.
Just after midnight, officers were called about a man who had been shot outside of a Kearns Domino’s.
Authorities said the man had picked up two other men outside a gas station near 4600 W. and 5400 S. earlier that night.
Officers said the man drove the pair a few blocks when a fight broke out inside the car and the driver was shot.
The two suspects took off and the victim went to Domino’s looking for help but officers said the employees were reluctant.
The man then drove to his home in Magna where police found him.
Officers said the victim is in fair condition; he is expected to make a full recovery.
