A new high tech baby monitor

Posted
and last updated

The Owlet Baby Monitor is the first monitor that uses hospital technology—pulse oximetry (you probably know it as the little red light they clip on your finger)—to alert parents if their baby stops breathing. The creators have heard from several parents who were alerted by their Owlet Monitor that their baby had stopped breathing and were able to intervene. Owlet is a Provo-based company led by three young fathers. The Owlet Monitor can be purchased at OwletCare.com, for $249.99. Free shipping is being offered through Dec. 31.
