UTAH -- A series of wet storms will be pushing through Utah over the next three days with the main impact in the mountains of northern and central Utah.
Temperatures will hover near 40 degrees, which will allow for a mixture of rain and snow in the valleys.
Mountain areas look to pick up between 15 and 30 inches of snow by Wednesday.
This will make traveling through the mountain passes very difficult for the upcoming week. Slushy road conditions will be prevalent across the valleys as well.
Colder temperatures will bring more snow to the valleys on Wednesday, with a break on Christmas Eve.
A smaller storm will allow for some snow showers across northern Utah on Christmas Day.
