PLEASANT VIEW, Utah -- Pleasant View police arrested a man early Wednesday morning in connection with the death of his 2-week-old son.
Krystopher Cleary, 20, faces a 1st-degree felony murder charge stemming from the death of his infant son, Kyson Cleary.
According to a news release from the Pleasant View Police Department, police responded to the Cleary residence on December 16 after receiving a report that Kyson required medical attention.
The baby was transported to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, then flown to Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City due to the "severe and suspicious nature of his injuries," the news release said.
Kyson was taken off life support and died on December 20. An autopsy conducted by the Utah State Office of the Medical Examiner showed Kyson had suffered severe force trauma injuries.
