9 people displaced after WVC house fire Christmas morning

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Nine people were displaced from their West Valley City home after a house fire Christmas morning.

Fire crews were called to 4240 S. 3820 West at about 4:17 a.m. When Firefighters arrived on scene, flames were billowing from the front side of the home.

It took about 20 minutes to put out.

Four adults and five children resided in the home were displaced and are being assisted by the Utah Red Cross.

The blaze is currently under investigation. It is unknown what the estimated cause of damage is at this time.
