SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah — The Utah Transit Authority police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of taking cars from UTA parking lots.

Authorities confirm they have five open cases within the past few months of a suspect using the rail system going to parking lots between Murray and Draper and taking vehicles.

The suspect was last tracked using a red line to West Jordan and Old Bingham Highway checking cars in the parking lots.

Authorities also say the suspect abandoned cars at stations on the southside. The gallery of photos above are images of the possible suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call UTA police at 801-287-EYES hotline.
