SALT LAKE CITY – The lockdowns at a few Salt Lake City schools have been lifted after police cleared the area.
The district said Mountain View Elementary, Glendale Middle School and the nearby Community Learning Center were put on lockdown as a precaution Thursday afternoon at about 1 p.m.
Officials said students “heard a loud bang” and officers came to investigate and determined there was no threat to the schools or students.
