UPDATE: Provo Police said missing 10-year-old Iliana Stout has been found safe Thursday morning.
PROVO, Utah — Police in Provo are asking for the public’s help in locating a 10-year-old girl who hasn’t been seen since she left school Wednesday afternoon, and authorities said the girl told a friend she wanted to go to New Mexico.
Provo police said 10-year-old Iliana Stout was last seen at about 3 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeview Elementary School, 2899 West 1390 North in Provo.
As school was releasing for the day, the girl left on foot and reportedly told a friend she wanted to go to Mexico. She was last seen wearing a pink hoodie, a red shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone who sees Iliana or who has had contact with her after 3 p.m. Wednesday is asked to call the Provo Police Department at 801-852-6210.
