LAYTON, Utah -- Layton police have released the identity of a man who was driving a truck that hit two Layton High School students, killing one of them, on Monday morning.

According to a news release, Leroy Clark will be charged with multiple violations related to distracted driving in connection with the auto-pedestrian crash.

Police said BaiLee DiBernardo and Eric Baarz, both 17, were using a crosswalk near 199 N Fort Lane when they were hit.

DiBernardo was killed and Baarz suffered leg injuries.
