LAYTON, Utah — Police are looking for a second person after a car chase that led officers from Layton to Salt Lake City.
The chase started Tuesday when an officer made a traffic stop on a car near 2600 N Hill Field Rd. The driver fled and police gave chase, but called it off due to bad weather.
The car was found abandoned in a Costco parking lot in Salt Lake City around midnight. Police located the driver nearby, but the passenger got away.
The driver was booked into the Davis County Jail.
