Armed suspect wanted in Murray convenience store robbery

MURRAY, Utah – Unified Police are searching for an armed man accused of flashing a gun and robbing a Murray convenience store overnight.

Police were called to the 7-Eleven at 4050 S. State St. at about 3:30 a.m.

Detectives said a stocky man hid in a bathroom until customers left and then held up the clerk and left with an unknown amount of cash.

Authorities said the suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his 20s who is about 5’5″ and 180 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a green bandanna, green gloves, a black and white hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
