PAYSON, Utah — A man was booked into jail Friday in Payson after he allegedly sexually assaulted a staff member at a nursing home.
Chief Brad Bishop, Payson Police Department, said they received a call Friday from a female employee at Parkway Health in Payson, and the woman said a patient had sexually assaulted her.
Bishop said they investigated and determined that 54-year-old Carl Lowery, a patient at the facility, had approached the victim from behind, grabbed her hips and made some sexual movements toward the victim.
Based on the evidence found, Bishop said they arrested Lowery for sexual assault Friday.
