SANDY, Utah -- Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a Subway robbery in Sandy.
On Feb. 7 at about 6:50 p.m., an individual walked into the business, located at 9581 S. 700 East, and passed a note to an employee demanding money to an employee at the counter, according to a press release from Sandy police.
A weapon was threatened but not displayed, according to the release.
The employee complied with the demands and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money then left the Subway in an unknown direction, the release states. No vehicle was seen.

The suspect is described as an individual with tan skin, medium-length black hair with a medium build. The individual is reported to be in the early 20s age range and about 6 feet tall.
The suspect was last seen wearing a dark gray hoodie and black coat, black ski mask, black gloves with a white print pattern and red shoes.
