SALT LAKE CITY -- The folks that fill the Huntsman Center to cheer for the Runnin' Utes are a passionate bunch, but a pair of devoted Utah fans took that love for the game to new heights during halftime of a match-up held on Valentine's Day.
Video from Sunday's game vs Washington State shows a Utah fan getting down on one knee to propose as "Swoop", the Utah mascot, looks on with a sign reading "Will You Marry Me."
While we don't know the names of the happy couple, according to Pac-12 Networks, she said "YES!"
Utah would go on to win the game 88-47, which was probably the icing on the cake for the love-struck duo.
FOX 13 News has reached out to the University of Utah for more information about the proposal and the couple.
