Weather forces closures at several Utah ski resorts

Severe weather conditions have forced several Utah ski resorts to halt ski lift operations or completely close for the day.

Brighton Resort reports high winds have caused a power outage and lifts are on hold as of noon.

Cherry Peak Resort is closed for the day.

Park City Mountain Resort has closed the Canyons Village side for the day. As of 1:15 p.m., Park City Base Area is on wind hold and still experiencing a loss of power, with possible re-openings of PayDay, Crescent, First Time, 3 Kings Lifts. There will be no night skiing Thursday evening.

Powder Mountain is closed for the day, including night skiing.

Snowbasin Resort has intermittent closures. Check their Twitter account for updates.

Solitude is closed for the rest of the day.
