WEST JORDAN, Utah — Police in West Jordan are looking for a 9-year-old boy who was reported missing Thursday evening by his family.

Sgt. Dan Roberts, West Jordan Police Department, said Dallas Facer was not at school around 3 p.m. when his family went to pick him up, and they learned he had gone to a friend’s house.

The boy reportedly left that friend’s home, located near 3300 West 7100 South, around 5 p.m. and has not been seen since. The child’s parents called police around 6:30 p.m. when they couldn’t find him.

Police have initiated an emergency alert call to residents in the area, asking them to keep an eye out for the child. Bloodhound dogs were also being brought in to assist in the search.

Dallas is pictured above and is described as being 4-feet 3-inches tall and weighing about 75 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt with white graphics on it, jeans and snow boots. Dallas has medium-length blond hair.
