BOUNTIFUL, Utah — Police have identified the Bountiful man who was killed after the truck he was working underneath rolled down the driveway and crushed him as 57-year-old Ron Wood.
According to the Bountiful Police Department, a driver near 900 North and 300 West spotted Wood who had become pinned beneath a truck in a driveway just before 11 a.m.
The driver called 911; emergency crews arrived within three minutes but the man had already died.
Preliminary investigations show the man had crawled beneath the vehicle without jacking it up in order to do some work.
The man was killed after the vehicle rolled down the driveway.
