SALT LAKE CITY -- The 5A and 4A state championships for boy's basketball were held this weekend, and the Bingham High School Miners and the Olympus High School Titans brought home the 5A and 4A titles.
Bingham faced Copper Hills High School for the fourth time this season, and despite Copper's 1-point lead at the half, the Miners brought home the 61-44 win.
Copper Hills lost only four games this season, but three of those were to Bingham.
Olympus High School hadn't won a state championship for boy's basketball since the school was founded in 1953, but that all changed after they beat Timpview 51-44.
