SALT LAKE CITY — An estimated 30 people were evacuated in Salt Lake City Thursday after a car crashed into an apartment building and caused a natural gas leak.
The crash occurred in the area of 2250 South 500 East, and FOX 13 News first heard reports of the incident just after 3 p.m.
Salt Lake City Fire Department personnel said about 30 people were evacuated at the apartment building as the gas leak is addressed. The driver involved in the crash has reportedly left the scene.
