MIDVALE, Utah — Slick road conditions contributed to a series of crashes Tuesday morning on an I-215 on-ramp in Midvale.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the crashes occurred around 5:30 on the on-ramp from northbound Union Park to westbound I-215.
Troopers temporarily closed the ramp to prevent further crashes and allow crews to put salt on the roadway. The ramp has since reopened.
No one was injured and none of the drivers are suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alchohol.
UHP urges drivers to reduce speed and leave plenty of following distance when the roads are slippery.
