SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah — A 66-year-old woman who walked away from a South Salt Lake care facility Monday was found Tuesday.
Diana Starzel, was last seen around noon Monday at Little Cottonwood Rehabilitation and Nursing, 3094 S. State Street. At about 3 p.m. Tuesday, she was found in Midvale.
“Diana Starzel was found safe and well and did not wish to return to the care facility,” according to a press release from South Salt Lake police.
The 66-year-old woman was considered endangered due to her age, mental health issues, substance disorders and the cold/wet weather.
At this time it is unknown what events led up to the finding of Starzel, police say.
