One taken to hospital after shots fired during domestic dispute in Riverton

RIVERTON, Utah — A man has been taken to a hospital and police have responded to the scene of a shooting during a domestic dispute Wednesday night.

According to the Unified Police Department, the incident occurred in the area of 12900 South and 2000 West in Riverton. FOX 13 News first heard reports of the incident just before 9 p.m.

Police confirm  a man has been taken to a hospital, but no specific information about his injuries were immediately available.

It was not clear if anyone has been taken into custody at this point. FOX 13 News has a crew on the way to the scene and has reached out to police for more information, and we will update this story as more details emerge.
