SALT LAKE CITY – Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly stabbed another man 14 times last Friday.

The stabbing occurred in the area of 1332 South State Street around 1:21 a.m. on March 17, and while police said there were three men involved, one person is considered the main suspect in the stabbing.

Police said the suspects fled the scene in a white, four-door sedan. The vehicle is described as having tinted windows, shiny rims and a sunroof. All three men were wearing red clothing and reportedly claimed to be members of the Blood gang.

The three men attacked a 24-year-old victim, who was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition.
