Stolen car runs red light; collides with Ogden school bus

OGDEN, Utah – Two people are in critical condition after a stolen car and a school bus collided in Ogden.

Officers said two men in a stolen 1990 Chevy Lumina ran a red light at 30th St. and Lincoln Ave., colliding with the bus at about 9 a.m.

The bus hit the stolen car and then a Nissan; those in the Nissan were not hurt.

The 29-year-old bus driver wasn’t seriously injured but went to the hospital as a precaution.

No students were on board; they had just been dropped off at Ogden High School.

Officers said the two men had to be cut out of the stolen car were taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.

The car was reported stolen last Friday.
