MILLCREEK, Utah — Police are searching for a 10-year-old girl who was last seen in Millcreek Saturday afternoon and is now listed as being missing and endangered.

Det. Jared Richardson of the Unified Police Department said 10-year-old Jasmine Brown was last seen around 2:30 p.m. The search is focused in the area of 3350 South and 2000 East.

Jasmine has brown hair that was in a pony tail with a blue bow. She was wearing a pink shirt and denim capris. She stands 4-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.

According to police, Jasmine doesn’t have a history of running away and she was last seen Saturday after an argument with her mother. Police said the child is considered endangered because of her age and because it is abnormal for her to leave home.

Authorities said the case does not yet reach the level of issuing an Amber Alert.

FOX 13 News has a crew at the scene and has reached out to authorities for more details, and we will update this story as more information emerges.
