WEST VALLEY CITY - A high-speed chase that reached speeds of more than 100 mph has ended on I-15 with the people in custody.

Police said they have been investigating the suspect since Tuesday after the driver tried to run over an officer during a chase.

Officers found that car just after 1 a.m. and that's when the chase started.

West Valley officers tried spiking the tires and the suspect eventually stopped at an apartment complex near 70th S. and Redwood Rd.

Authorities said they arrested two men and a woman who were in the car and believe they could be connected to another group of wanted criminals.
