Lanes of 500 South re-open after crash involving TRAX train

SALT LAKE CITY — Two eastbound lanes of 500 South are closed near 1100 East Saturday night after a crash involving a TRAX train.

Utah Department of Transportation tweeted the two left lanes are closed after a crash at that address, and the estimated clearance time is 11:27 p.m.

UDOT first reported the crash just after 9:30 p.m.

FOX 13 News crews at the scene confirmed the crash involves a TRAX train and another vehicle, but no further information was available.
