SALT LAKE CITY — An AMBER Alert issued for two children believed to be been abducted in the Four Corners area, has been canceled.

The alert, issued about 1 a.m. Sunday, was for 7-year-old Kerwin Gray and 5-year-old Lyric Gray, who disappeared in Wheatfield, Ariz. Utah authorities said the two were taken by the suspect who was drinking at the time and may be headed toward Mentmore, New Mexico, which is near Gallup.

Police in Chinle told FOX 10 the boys were abducted by their stepfather, Clinton Johnson 26. He reportedly threatened to leave the two boys in the desert.

The boys were found safe but Johnson is still on the run, according to FOX 10.

Police are looking for a white, 2000 Oldsmobile Alero, with New Mexico license plate 238TMB.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
