MILLCREEK, Utah — Unified Police say a man with dementia, epilepsy and short-term memory loss that went missing from a rehab center in Millcreek Thursday night has been found safe by sister Friday morning.

He was found walking around in West Jordan.

According to the Unified Police Department, 63-year-old Michel Edward Mills went missing from the Millcreek Health Center, 3520 South Highland Drive, around 8:15 p.m. Thursday.

Police said the man was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black shirt and a black vest-style jacket. A surveillance camera captured the man’s image as he left the center Thursday.

Authorities said the man is considered endangered due to medical conditions, which include dementia, short-term memory loss and epilepsy. The man takes medication for epilepsy.

Authorities say Mills is very social and may be near a store looking for cigarettes.
