SOUTH JORDAN, Utah - Fire crews are investigating a few overnight fires in the River Bottoms area of South Jordan overnight.

Firefighters arrived at 1000 W. and 9900 S. just before 11:30 p.m. Monday to find two homes and two construction dumpsters engulfed in flames.

Both of the homes were under construction at the time; one was to be in the upcoming Parade of Homes.

Since the homes are new, fire crews had trouble finding the exact location.

Once they found the area, they had trouble getting past cars of spectators who had stopped to watch.

Fire crews were able to put out the flames before they spread to the attic.

Authorities are investigating what sparked these fires.

No one was injured.
