Semi jackknifed in Lambs Canyon, stopped 20 ft from drop off

Posted

LAMBS CANYON, Utah – Interstate 80 in Lambs Canyon is back open after a semi truck accident overnight.

The Utah Highway Patrol said the semi was going west when it jackknifed, spilling about 100 gallons of fuel on the road.

The roads were slick from the rain and troopers said the driver was going too fast.

Troopers said the semi stopped just 20 feet from a steep drop off.

No one was seriously injured.
